THE ANSWERS
To Frequent Questions

Q. What is The Summit Sanctuary?

The Summit Sanctuary is Arizona’s premier luxury mental health and substance use treatment center. We specialize in combining the highest standards of clinical therapy with holistic wellness experiences, all within a private, resort-style setting in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Q. How many people does The Summit accommodate?

The Summit prides itself on providing an intimate and personalized environment for recovery. With a commitment to individualized care, our facility accommodates a maximum of 10 individuals at a time. This ensures that each guest receives the attention and support necessary for a transformative and focused rehabilitation experience.

Q. What sets us apart from other treatment centers?

The Summit Sanctuary is one of the nation’s only mental health primary facilities that takes a root-cause approach to substance use and co-occurring disorders. Rather than treating addiction as the problem, we uncover and heal the underlying mental health conditions, trauma, and neurological imbalances that often drive it.

Our clients benefit from a fully integrated, multidisciplinary team that includes licensed therapists, psychiatric providers, nurses, medical doctors, and specialists in psychology and neurology. This collaboration ensures every aspect of your health—emotional, psychological, physical, and neurological—is addressed, creating lasting change and long-term recovery.

Q. Do you Accept Insurance?

Yes. We accept most PPO plans to help pay for your stay. As an out-of-network provider we are unable to accept AHCCCS, Medicare or Medicaid policies. Our admissions team can assist you in understanding your options.

We work with high-achieving professionals, executives, creatives, and individuals seeking the very best in mental health and addiction recovery. Our programs are tailored for those who value privacy, personalized care, and a serene environment conducive to healing.
